Description

This course offers students the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop skills in the use of the German language, both grammatically and communicatively, in various situations they may encounter.

Objectives

This course provides students with the opportunity to acquire knowledge and develop skills in the use of the German language, both from a grammatical and communicative perspective, in various situations they may find themselves in

Basic rules of reading and spelling in the German language. Lesson 1: Greetings and self-introduction in German (alphabet, pronunciation, basic forms of communication).

Conjugation of verbs in the present tense. Interrogative pronouns: wer, wie, woher. Position of the verb in declarative and interrogative sentences. Introducing one’s family, expressing language skills, engaging in simple conversations, and giving evaluations. Practical exercises.

Practical session focused on reinforcing and applying all elements learned so far through exercises, dialogues, and communicative activities.

Definite articles in the nominative case. Indefinite articles. Dialogues and practical exercises.

Nouns in the singular and plural forms. Asking for words and naming objects. Asking for repetition. Expressing thanks and describing objects. Conducting telephone conversations. Practical exercises.

Official and informal time. Days of the week and parts of the day (meals). Practical exercises for using time and daily schedules in everyday situations

Separable verbs and their use in sentences. Describing one’s daily routine in German (topic: “My Day”). Revision and practical exercises to consolidate previous knowledge.

Midterm exam – assessment of knowledge acquired so far, including grammar, vocabulary, and communicative skills. Preparatory exercises and reflection on learning outcomes.

Joint dialogue to develop communicative skills: How to introduce oneself. Questions and answers: “Where do I live?” Questions and answers about preferred food and drinks: “What do I like to eat and drink?” Practical exercises and role-plays.

Use of the particle “doch” in German sentences. Reading a text: “Juliana in Germany” and answering related questions. Practical exercises to understand the contextual use of the particle.

Final Exam

Mastering the grammatical rules of the German language. Assimilation of language elements for everyday use and in various situations.Students will be able to speak fluently and clearly in German, in accordance with their level.
